This new wood species on my "Timbers List" was sourced from the found McLaren Vale firewood processing plant that until recently was unidentified.

This was the first time I ever saw this wood coming from this local area (as many other woods that are taken to that place) so, I didn't hesitate to get a few good logs that at the time were a little green and soaked wet with water from the rain.

The wood is now dry and very dense in the heartwood and medium soft on the sapwood, which is what this listing is about, interestingly the sapwood in its beige/greyish colour show the wood rays all throughout, very interesting for sure.

The blanks listed are (st) meaning, straight/with the grain cut, the blanks had one face hot waxed for colour enhancement for the pictures.
